Alert Communications issues each customer an exclusive, non published, Direct Inward Dial (DID) number. When that telephone number rings, it identifies your company to our staff in our system.
Customers have many, many options. Starting with how we greet your customers. Alert Communications can do what you need.

- If you need calls answered live, we can provide that with your customized answer phrase.
- If you need calls answered with a recorded greeting, we can provide that.
- If you need calls answered with an expanded recorded greeting with IVR or Voice Mail functionality, we can provide that as well.
After Alert staff greets your callers, messages are taken as you require, information relayed to callers as you require, and emergency or mission critical messages dispatched as you require. There are many dispatch options:

- Connect your callers to your on call personnel live.
- Verbal relay of messages to your on call personnel at the telephone number(s) provided.
- SMS / text message.
- SMS / text message with a confirmation code to ensure the message is received. If not confirmed within your specified time out, Alert staff will escalate dispatch by reaching your on call contact another way, and/or to other personnel. Dispatch escalation can be as simple or expansive as needed.
- Alert Secure Message App. The app integrates directly with our software, so our staff know when the message is opened and read. If not, Alert staff will escalate dispatch.
- Alert can dispatch messages via email, fax, voice mail, and/or page.
Alert staff can dispatch messages to multiple on call personnel as well, combining any of the above options.
Daily email and/or fax reports are provided with all detail of calls taken, and/or dispatched. Alert Communications email and fax servers can send message logs multiple times daily if needed.
